Martha Hill is the unflinchingly cool Northern guitar girl I always wanted to be. I've spent this year so far rekindling my enjoyment of guitar music and this electrifying track has rekindled, recharged and cemented that spark, and leaves me hankering for more. In Grilled Cheese she explores the sometimes trivial minutiae of relationships in a way that is so consistent with past experiences in my actual life that it's weirdly reassuring.
