When I think about Rudimental, my mind goes to bouncy drum and bass beats, and a vocal feature from some chart-topper or other. It does not typically go to vibey remixes of 70's Zambian pop songs. This fresh take on a song by the late Zambian superstar, Nashil Pichen Kazembe, definitely subverts my expectations. I'd sooner hear this playing in the sunny early-morning hours of a secret east London party, than on the dance floor of Tiger Tiger.
