This collab between genre-spanning collective Nubiyan Twist and south London singer Ego Ella May came earlier this year, and is the latest addition to my 'portraits of life in 2020' playlist. The dissonant chords in the chorus are ironed out by the smoothness of Ego Ella May's vocals - meanwhile the lyrics tell a less harmonious story. 'Why do we fight 24-7' she asks? Lockdown, probably.
